This is a plain-language summary of our policy, not legal advice.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to compute your chart and deliver your reading.
Who we are

What we collect
- Birth details — your date, time, and place of birth. These are sensitive. We use them only to compute your chart: correcting to true solar time and deriving your pillars. We do not use them to identify you, and never for advertising.
- Email address. If you buy a reading or ask to be notified, we use your email to send you the private link to your reading, a receipt, and any message you asked for.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Your card details go directly to them and never touch our servers. We receive only what we need to confirm the purchase — for example, a confirmation and an order reference.
How the reading is generated (third-party LLM)
To turn your computed chart into a written reading, facts derived from your birth details — such as your pillars, Day Master, and elemental balance — are sent to a third-party large-language-model (LLM) provider, which generates the narrative text.
We send only these derived chart facts for that purpose. We do not send your email or your payment information to the LLM provider. Which provider we use is listed under Subprocessors below.
Subprocessors
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers (“subprocessors”) to run the Service. Each processes data only to provide its part of the Service.

Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless product analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) to understand which features are used and where people get stuck. It stores nothing on your device — no analytics or tracking cookies and no local storage — your IP address is discarded at collection, and we do not use it to profile you or track you across other sites. We send no personal data (such as your email) to it. We do not use advertising cookies. Aside from this, we use only what is strictly necessary to make the site work.
How long we keep data
We keep your chart, order, and reading so that you can reopen your reading from its private link. We keep your data only as long as it is needed for these purposes, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed or when you ask us to — except where we must retain certain records, such as basic transaction records, to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will respond within a reasonable time. Because your birth details and reading are tied to your email and order, we may ask you to confirm these details to verify your request.
International transfers
We and our subprocessors may process your data in countries other than the one you live in, including wherever our hosting, database, email, payment, and LLM providers operate. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
The Service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
